Role Purpose

  • The  role  holder  acts  as  a  sub-function  head managing  end-to-end administration  of  a  specific  or  cluster  of  areas  like  recruitment,  workforce  administration, payroll, compensation, performance management, learning and development, talent management, policy implementation and adherence to statutory compliances.
  • The  incumbent  drives  the  smooth  propagation  of existing  policies,  as  well as  new  initiatives/programs throughout GRIL while  capturing  accurate  data  for  the the Leads to generate actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR & Admin Planning & Performance – Create a plan for the day-today activities to be performed and the specific initiatives/programs to be addressed for the specific sub - function in consultation with the Lead. Develop a schedule for execution of the HR initiatives/programs.
  • HR & Admin Operations – Review the day-today HR operations and enable solutions. Facilitate resolution of issues through collaboration and communication with relevant stakeholders. Ensure compliance to GRIL and statutory standards for each sub-function. PMS – PMS implementation, ensuring addition of SMART goals, filling of appraisal forms, mid-year and end-year discussions occurring in a timely manner. Compliance – Implement the relevant policies and ensure all the compliances are in place and reviewed at a regular basis across GRIL. Recruitment – Conduct the Manpower planning exercise, empanel vendor and consultants, meet the numbers as per the requirements along with the correct fit. L&D – Capture training needs, empanel vendors, create and maintain training calendar, facilitate trainings, capture training feedback from employee and Vertical Lead. WFA & Payroll – Maintain employee master data, entry  and exit data, absence data, process payroll as per statutory requirements and ensure timely  and correct payments. Compensation – Maintain industry benchmarks, finalise organizational percentile, finalise the benefits and compensation structure as per levels
  • Management Reporting – Ensure that all information is appropriately  documented and secured through the right reporting mechanisms. Apprise the GRIL seniors of the assignment progress and request for support/necessary inputs to ensure smooth execution for payroll, compliances, etc.
  • People management – Ensure that all employee grievances are handled in an appropriate manner. Review the work of the junior team members providing guidance through training and on the job learning helping them focus on improvement areas. Ensure employee engagement activities are in place for the employees.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

  • Diploma in HR/ PMIR, Graduation in Business/ Mathematics/ Behavioral Science/ Social Science, MBA in HR/ PMIR.
  • Min 10 years. in handling HR work.
