Role Purpose
- The purpose of this role is to support the Lead in the accurate analysis and costing of the bids through validation of schedules and drawings.
- They supervise the preparation of pre-bid query and project summary documents, and obtain necessary information from all relevant teams.
- The role holder ensures the timely execution of the cost feasibility studies and that their outcomes are shared with the relevant stakeholders.
- They also ensure that all the bid level approvals are obtained on time
Key Responsibilities
- Bid Analysis and Costing –
- Collaborate and support the Lead in the bid analysis and cost feasibility studies, and create a list of approvals required for the successful bid submission.
- Collaborate with the relevant teams to obtain the necessary information and supervise the preparation of pre-bid query and project summary documents while ensuring adherence to all SLAs and SOPs.
- Ensure that all relevant parameters have been accounted for in the cost feasibility study.
- Present the outcome to the Lead to help in successfully arriving at a pre-approval bid price.
- Operational Metrics & Reporting –
- Capture accurate data as per the finalised operational metrics and ensuretimely reporting to the seniors.
- People management –
- Take accountability for metrics like attrition, recruitment for team members.
- Maintain a track of errors through statistical techniques and build an experience
data base to aid the team.
Indicative Experience and Exposure
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5-9 years experience in bidding
or
- B.Tech / M.Tech with 3-5 years experience in procurement
- Experience in handling bidding functions at projects with a scope of around INR 100-500 crore and above
