Role Purpose
The role holder is accountable for the completion of the specific part of the Power Transmission & Distribution (PT & D) design assignment. The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth execution of the allotted aspect of the design assignment with best quality and as per the set timelines. The role holder is also responsible for resolving operational issues to ensure minimal impact on the design delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as per the allotted design activity provided by the team Sub-Vertical Lead – Design and provide design solutions as per the set design standards and the set timelines for the Power Transmission & Distribution (PT & D) design activity.
- Review the design creation quality and schedule with the Sub-Vertical Lead – Design through daily progress report and collect accurate data for reporting.
- Ensure that the design deliverables are on time and at the required level of quality compliance with quality standards set by the client and government.
- Apprise the seniors of the design assignment progress for getting design approvals from the client and request for support/ necessary inputs to ensure smooth design delivery.
- Ensure capability building through continuous learning & adopting innovative design approaches.
Indicative Experience and Exposure
- Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical with 2-3 years’ experience in design.
- BE/ B. Tech with 1-2 years’ experience in design.
- M. Tech with min. 1 years’ experience in design.
