Role Purpose
The role holder is responsible for supporting regulatory compliance and business development activities for power transmission projects. This role assists in securing approvals, monitoring regulatory requirements, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and contribute to organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory compliance support: Assist in ensuring substation and transmission line projects meet local, state, and central and state regulatory requirements.
- Permit coordination: Prepare documentation and support applications for permits and approvals from authorities such as MOP, CERC, CEA, CTUIL, NLDC, RPC, RLDC.
- Forest clearances: Facilitate the process of obtaining environmental approvals and NOCs from relevant agencies.
- Stakeholder liaison: Coordinate with site execution teams to secure NOCs from Civil Aviation, Defence, Railways, Waterways, and NHAI.
- Regulatory monitoring: Track regulatory changes and provide updates to senior team members on compliance implications.
- Documentation management: Maintain organized records of permits, approvals, and regulatory communications.
- Internal audits: Support internal compliance checks and audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Government engagement: Assist in coordinating discussions with government bodies and community stakeholders under guidance of senior officers.
- Project bidding support: Provide inputs for Transmission-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) projects in collaboration with PFCCL and RECPDCL.
- Risk assessment assistance: Identify potential regulatory risks and escalate to senior management with suggested mitigation measures.
- MIS & reporting: Prepare periodic reports on compliance status, project approvals, and stakeholder interactions
Indicative Experience and Exposure
- Graduate Engineer in Electrical/ Civil/ Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-6+ years of overall experience in the Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) sector.
