Role Purpose

  • The role holder is responsible for supporting the Vertical Lead – P&M (Project), Project Head and Client Obligation Manager at the Project and the Contracts team at Corporate Office in all contract administration and monitoring related activities.
  • The incumbent is responsible for monitoring the project’s adherence to contractual terms, flagging any contractual issues, identifying potential risks and developing risk mitigation plans for the same. They support the Project Head /Client Obligation Manager in identification and submission of various claims and support the Vertical Lead - P&M (Project) in managing and drafting contractual correspondences.
  • The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining and updating the Contract Appreciation Document (CAD) and Contract Information System (CIS) and reporting contract related issues to relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Administration & Monitoring – Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to contractual terms. Update the Contract Appreciation Document (CAD) from time to time, flagging contractual issues and identifying the potential risks at different stages of project execution. Suggesting/developing risk mitigation plans along with the relevant stakeholders. Ensure proper identification, documentation and on-time submission of various claims, such as Extension of Time (EOT), etc. Adhere to all contract administration SOPs and SLAs, including scrutiny and classification of correspondences, and support the Vertical Lead - P&M (Project) in drafting responses to client correspondences. Coordinate with the Contracts team at Offices for all contract-related issues. Suggest improvement opportunities in the correspondence based on analysis or identification of unique/specific points in the documents.
  • Reporting – Update the CIS (Contract information system) and maintain monthly reports of client correspondences and potential issues that may arise, which are to be shared with the Vertical Lead - P&M, Project Head and the Contracts team at the Corporate Office.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

  • Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical /Electrical with 3-7 years experience

or

  • BE/B.Tech with 2-5 years experience or
  • M.Tech with 1-4 years experience
  • Experience in handling work with scope across 2-5 km in a road construction project
