Role Purpose
The Sub - Vertical lead – ERP supports the ERP Manager in ensuring day to day functional stability, configuration consistency, and effective user support across the organization’s SAP ERP landscape. The role assists in cross module coordination, issue resolution, testing, and deployment of business-driven changes to ensure uninterrupted EPC operations. The role also supports change management, patch coordination, and system monitoring, while acting as a key liaison between business users and the ERP support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor day to day operational health of the ERP environment and proactively flag performance, availability, or integration issues
- Coordinate with SAP Basis, infrastructure, AMS partners, and functional teams to resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring system issues, bugs, or integration failures and track corrective actions
- Execute and coordinate approved configuration changes, enhancements, and transport movements under the defined change management process
- Validate business change requests for completeness and impact before design, testing, and deployment
- Ensure cross module alignment (MM, SD, PS, FICO, etc.) during configuration changes and deployments
- Maintain configuration, change, and enhancement documentation and registers for audit and traceability
- Act as first level escalation point for module specific or site critical ERP issues, escalating to ERP Manager when required
- Support business critical activities such as month end, year-end, and project accounting processes
- Assist in SAP patching, downtime coordination, testing, and rollback planning in collaboration with Basis and Infrastructure teams.
Indicative Experience and Exposure
- Graduation/ Diploma with 8- 12 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good stakeholder engagement and coordination skills
