Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Design Engineer (Junior) with around 1 year of experience in structural design. The candidate should be capable of handling the design and analysis of minor structures such as box culverts, SVUPs, LVUPs, and retaining walls, with a sound understanding of relevant codes and design software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and analysis of minor structures, including box culverts, SVUPs (Small Vehicular Underpasses), LVUPs (Light Vehicular Underpasses), and retaining walls.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and reports in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with the relevant IRC and IS codes of practice.
• Perform structural analysis using STAAD Pro and other relevant software tools.
• Coordinate with senior design engineers and cross-functional teams for project execution.
• Review drawings and ensure accuracy and quality standards are maintained.
• Support in quantity estimation and preparation of BOQs where required.
• Assist in resolving design-related queries during project execution.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1 year of relevant experience in structural design (preferably in infrastructure/road projects).
• Basic understanding of IRC and IS codes of practice.
• Hands-on experience with STAAD Pro is essential.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design tools will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to highway/bridge/minor structure projects.
• Knowledge of design standards and detailing practices.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
