Role Purpose

The Vertical Lead – Sales & Marketing is responsible for sales and managing client relationships at the plant location. Provide support to Lead by driving alignment across the team to meet financial & operational targets. The incumbent is expected to generate leads, manage the sales pipeline, and coordinate with internal teams to effectively resolve customer issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure alignment with budgeted vs. actual costs at the plant.
  • Develop sales forecasts and contribute to effective resource planning, including inventory and manpower allocation.
  • Manage regional sales strategies to expand market share and explore new sales opportunities.
  • Support in implementation of the sales plan, ensuring alignment with product offerings.
  • Provide support to Lead through developing new clients and ensuring adherence to training & marketing plans.
  • Ensure timely availability and delivery of raw material.
  • Utilize manpower effectively and resolve grievances promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, quality and safety standards.
  • Proactively follow up on pending dues to maintain timely collections.
  • Resolve client queries within stipulated days.
  • Provide reports and analytics to manager & other stakeholders.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration.
  • MBA in Marketing or related field.
  • Proven experience of 5-11 years in sales.
