Role Purpose
The role holder will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for Power Transmission projects, including overhead Transmission Lines and Substations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare detailed technical drawings and schematics for Power Transmission systems using CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.).
- Collaborate with Engineers and Designers to develop Transmission Line layouts, profiles, and structure configurations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
- Perform revisions and updates to existing drawings based on feedback from Engineers and Project Managers.
- Maintain document control and ensure proper filing of all project-related drawings and records.
- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and bill of materials.
- Conduct site visits, when necessary, to gather field data and validate design accuracy.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Indicative Experience and Exposure
- Min ITI/ Diploma or Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field
- O3(Junior Assistant): Min 3 years’ experience
- O4(Assistant): Min 5 years’ experience
- O5(Senior Assistant): Min 7 years’ experience
