Role Purpose

The Project Controls Associate is responsible for adhering all aspects of project planning and performing all the scheduled activities to ensure the successful execution of projects. The role involves performance and execution in alignment with organizational goals. This position also ensures compliance with financial obligations while maintaining project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure monitoring of actual financial and operational performance.
  • Preparation of detailed project development reports and SOPs for scheduling, material conciliation.
  • Maintain baseline schedules, work plans, and material requirement plans for PT&D projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project objectives
  • Collaborate with Project team to allocate and optimize manpower, materials, and equipment across multiple projects
  • Monitor progress against project schedules, perform impact analyses, and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate delays
  • Monitor baselines for materials and equipment, ensuring budget adherence while maintaining quality standards
  • Establish robust systems to track expenses, identify variances.
  • Review subcontractor and client bills, ensuring alignment with project milestones and contractual terms
  • Ensure adherence policies and standards for material reconciliation processes across PT&D projects, ensuring accurate tracking and alignment with contractual scope
  • Prepare real-time dashboards to track project health metrics, including cost, time, and quality
  • Prepare management reports, ensuring alignment with BU and organizational priorities

Indicative Experience and Exposure

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/civil engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
  • Master’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or Operations (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in PT&D/EPC project planning, AOP development, and multi-project portfolio governance
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools (Primavera P6/MS Project) and resource loading/leveling
  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining material requirement plans across concurrent projects
