Senior General Manager

Role Purpose

The role holder is responsible for project cost planning. The incumbent is expected to prepare execution plan for timely completion of activities at projects. The focus is on analyzing avenues for cost optimization through planning & reviewing best practices for project construction. The incumbent is expected to explore & finalize vendors & contractors for the defined scope of work. The incumbent is responsible for timely resolution of commercial issue to prevent hinderance in project delivery & budgets. The incumbent is expected to identify opportunities for design optimization in consultation with Design team to minimize quality related incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• • Review & define the cost plan for timely initiation of project related activities.
  • Timely preparation & finalization of project execution plan as per the organization's standardized policies & procedures.
  • To explore market competitive plans for the establishment of organization brand in the industry.
  • Review & analysis of best avenues for cost optimization along with the sources of Project construction within stipulated days.
  • To explore and finalize vendors & contractors with the aspect of cost optimization for the defined scope of work.
  • Resolution of commercial issues for the facilitation of project delivery in adherence to the defined budget.
  • To explore opportunities for design optimization through value engineering in support & consultation of Design team along with management as per the provision of CA.
  • Ensure GRIL standard quality levels of work for all the projects. Coordination with clients & vendors for timely necessary approvals.
  • Update the management with the progress vs target analysis.
  • Highlight or timely escalation of potential risks for ensuring smooth execution of work along with the cost optimization.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

• Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical, BE/B.Tech, M. Tech.
• Min 12-15 years of experience in handling construction projects with a scope of around INR 1000 cr. + value.
• Experience in EPC, Infrastructure Industry.
