Role Purpose

The Asset Management Sub Vertical Lead is responsible for managing the performance of operational assets in the PT&D business. This includes ensuring seamless operations post-project completion, maintaining high asset availability, and optimizing utilization to meet business and regulatory goals. The role focuses on planned maintenance, emergency repairs to ensure uninterrupted power supply and billing accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across allocated projects, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all operations adhere to the organization’s safety protocols, environmental standards, and compliance requirements
  • Manage the allocation resources to effectively meet operational demands and complete tasks on time
  • Maintain consistency and reliability in power generation and distribution to meet operational targets
  • Identify opportunities for optimization without compromising quality or operational performance
  • Ensuring adherence to timelines and compliance with established standards
  • Implement comprehensive maintenance schedules covering all critical assets, including transmission lines, substations, transformers, and auxiliary systems
  • Tracking operational performance against key metrics such as uptime, load factor, and grid stability, taking corrective actions where needed
  • Work closely with project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure the seamless execution of maintenance activities and resolve any post-handover issues
  • Collaborate with grid operators to ensure optimal load distribution and stability

Indicative Experience and Exposure

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Master’s degree in Power Systems, Energy Management, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • Overall 5+ yrs. of experience
  • Proven experience in implementing operational efficiency measures to reduce technical losses and improve grid reliability
  • Strong understanding of SCADA systems, grid performance monitoring, and preventive/corrective maintenance practices
  • Hands-on experience in managing maintenance schedules for transmission lines, substations, transformers, and auxiliary systems.
