Role Purpose

The role holder is accountable for the completion of the allocated tasks or activities of the O&M project by the project O&M Incharge. The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth completion of the task/ activity assigned within quality and timelines along with supervising the technical work and taking proper measurements to ensure quality & safety. The incumbent is also responsible for the escalation of issues, preventing client-level grievances. Responsible for providing support to Incharge – O&M in achieving highest O&M performance. Ensure timely ticket resolution and ensures zero escalations from sub-contractors, fostering a positive project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain project assets and promptly escalate issues to the appropriate level.
  • Ensure deliverables are on time and are the required level of quality.
  • Ensure adhere to maintenance schedule maintenance, ensuring zero client-level escalations due to inventory unavailability.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and standard procedures outlined in the Contract Agreement.
  • Timely resolution of maintenance tickets in line with defined SOPs, ensuring optimal O&M performance.
  • Ensure timely submission of comprehensive reports to the client, providing insights into project operations and maintenance.
  • Ensure the smooth maintenance of the project, addressing sub-contractor grievances effectively.
  • Strive for zero escalations from sub-contractors, fostering positive working relationships.
  • Co-ordination with external stakeholders such as RLDC/ RPC for timely/ planned shutdown for emergency/ planned maintenance of Substation.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5 - 6 years’ experience.
  • B. Tech with 4 - 5 years’ experience of testing & commissioning in EHV Transmission Line/ Substation.
  • 2-3 yrs. of experience in handling multiple successful PT & D Operations & Maintenance projects of 220kV/ 400 kV/ 765 kV.
