Role Purpose

  • The incumbent to the role will handle a cluster of sub-functions and drive the execution at both corporate office and project sites ensuring adherence to the set SOPs and SLAs for their cluster of sub-function.
  • The incumbent will focus on guiding the team by converting the finalised people strategy for GRIL into actionable steps and will review the progress identifying the deviations from schedule. 
  • The role holder will also troubleshoot major issues within the sub-functions and facilitate support in taking final decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR & Admin Planning & PerformanceAssist the Head - HR in designing the governance framework, HR policies and processes. Focus on implementing the framework, policies and processes across the organization. Design the strategy and the various initiatives/programs for people engagement and management within the cluster of sub- functions. Create the plan for requirement of resources (time, money, manpower etc.) and develop a schedule for execution of the various initiatives/programs while effectively allocating the resources to the determined activities. Depending on the cluster the incumbent will facilitate recruitment, manpower planning, smooth execution of payroll, training and development etc. across GRILand the various project sites
  • HR & Admin Operations – Frequent review of the identified initiatives/programs’ implementation and identify underlying deviations from schedule. Review the HR operations and enable solutions.
  • Management and Reporting–Ensure that all compliance and business related information is appropriately documented and secured through the DPR and other reporting mechanisms. Resolve any issues related to specific initiative/program and ensure accurate and timely reporting. Apprise the GRIL seniors of the HR initiatives/programs’ and operational progress and request for support/necessary inputs to ensure smooth implementation.
  • People management – Ensure that all employee grievances are handled in an appropriate manner in their team. Manage and review the attrition levels and drive employee engagement activities.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

  • Diploma in HRM/ PMIR  with 13- 17 years experience  in  handling HR projects

 or

  • BE/B.Tech with 10-12  years experience and M.B.A in HRM/PMIR  with 8-10 years experience in handling  construction projects
  • Experience  in  2-3  HR implementation assignments
